Project Brief
Adidas sought to enhance customer engagement and loyalty through the development of the “3Stripes App,” a mobile application designed to integrate with their existing 3Stripes loyalty program. The objective was to provide users with a seamless platform to access exclusive rewards, track purchases, and receive personalized content, thereby strengthening brand connection and encouraging repeat business.
Design Solution
To achieve these goals, we developed a user-centric mobile application with the following key features:
- User Interface (UI) Design: Crafted an intuitive and visually appealing interface that reflects Adidas’s brand identity, ensuring ease of navigation and a cohesive user experience.
- Loyalty Integration: Seamlessly incorporated the 3Stripes loyalty program, allowing users to view and redeem points, access exclusive offers, and stay informed about upcoming events.
- Personalization: Implemented algorithms to deliver tailored content, product recommendations, and notifications based on user preferences and behaviors.
- Activity Tracking: Enabled features for users to log their workouts and track fitness goals, fostering a community around Adidas’s sports-oriented ethos.
- E-commerce Functionality: Integrated secure shopping capabilities, allowing users to browse and purchase products directly within the app.
Outcome
The 3Stripes App successfully enhanced user engagement by providing a centralised platform for customers to interact with the Adidas brand. The seamless integration of the loyalty program and personalised content contributed to increased customer satisfaction and repeat purchases.
This project demonstrates my ability to develop comprehensive mobile solutions that align with brand objectives and enhance user experience.
Note 1: In late 2019, Adidas transitioned from the 3Stripes loyalty program to the adiClub membership program, aiming to offer an even more rewarding experience for its customers.
Note 2: This project was for research and concept presentation purposes only. The app went into phase 1 development but it was canceled due to budget constraints.
