Steynskraal Guest Farm logo & branding

Steynskraal is a guest farm that offers self catering accommodation in the heart of the Great Karoo. Located about 23km outside Beaufort West (in the direction of Cape Town) and only 4km from the N1 (and independent of the Eskom power network), Steynskraal offers a choice of luxury self-catering units for the discerning traveller.

The owners wanted a logo that was simplistic yet iconic, balancing the classic and the modern. My approach was to use two iconic elements from the farm in a modern stylised way. I opted for a classic font in Bodoni.
