Visual reportage

Here are some cool ink + water illustrations I did last year. Discovered it in my stash of old work. We had to speak to random people all over town and ask them all the same question, then draw them and then rework the drawing again. Then we had to choose one of the works and do something with the individual answer i.e. place it in a setting relevant to the person’s answer. This project reinstated my love for water colour, which I used to hate as I’ve mentioned earlier. I used a lot of water on thick paper which allows the ink to spread and run. Gives a really nice, expressionistic feel. Cool! =)
